Electric dirt bike · balance game

Wheelly Fun

Live on the back wheel.

No clutch. No gears. Just your wrist, the rear brake, and the one spot where the bike is neither falling forward nor looping out behind you. Hold it as long as you can.

There is one rule

You only score in the band

The balance band is a narrow window — roughly 40° to 69° off the ground, centred on 55°. It is the angle where the bike is neither falling forward nor going over backwards. Sit inside it and the multiplier climbs. Sit anywhere else and it doesn't.

A low, safe, comfortable wheelie you could hold all day earns you nothing. Neither does putting the front wheel down to have a think — that's the one state that actively drains your combo. The only way to score is to go and sit in the one place that is genuinely hard to stay.

Safe

Nothing. Hold it all day if you like.

Looped out

Over the back. Run over.

Four inputs. That's all of them.

Wrist and rear brake

An electric bike has no clutch to dump and no gears to shift, so there is nothing between your hand and the back wheel. The gas puts the front wheel up. The rear brake brings it back down — that is what it is for here, not stopping. Your weight does the fine work in between.

On a phone, four touch zones sit in the bottom third of the screen so your hands never cover the road ahead. On a desktop it's the arrow keys, and WASD works too. Both are always live — there is no mode to switch.

Under it

Physics, not a script

The bike is a rigid body on a height field. There is no wheelie code and no jump code — the wheelie is just what happens when drive force acts at the contact patch and the centre of mass is above it.

The balance point is unstable on purpose

Past roughly 52° the ground stops pushing you back upright and starts tipping you further over. There is no throttle setting that just holds a wheelie — pin it and you either never get the wheel up or you go over the back within about two seconds. Holding it means constantly correcting, and that is the whole skill.

Tricks are recognised, not triggered

There is no trick button and no canned animation. The game watches what the bike is actually doing and names what you just did. Nothing is scripted, so nothing is off-limits — but the band is still the only thing that moves the score.

The road can never kill you unfairly

Terrain is generated ahead of you, and a section you could not clear at the speed you'll arrive at is simply never placed there. It also refuses to hand you the same chunk three times running. You can lose. You cannot be cheated.

The meter drains while you are being boring

Rolling along on both wheels is the only state that costs you — the combo meter falls, and when it empties your multiplier resets to 1×. Riding safely is not neutral. It is the thing that ends your run.

If holding it starts to feel easy

Climb the ladder

Each stance is worth more and leaves you less able to correct. You can only climb while you are already inside the band, so there is no promoting yourself from the safety of a low wheelie.

The browser build is the real game, but a phone browser is not where it wants to live. Native apps are in the works. Leave your email and you'll hear from me once — when they land.
